In 2004, the Japanese market for Core, Broadband Aggregation, and IP Edge Aggregation grew 60, 44, and 32 percent, respectively. The tremendous demand for sophisticated IP Carrier Equipment pushed sequential growth rates for three vendors over 50 percent in Q4 2004.
